Born and raised in Guyana, Lydia moved to New York in 1988. She is the Owner and CEO of TTT Event Planning, LLC; a full service wedding and events planning company, with a focus on Multicultural and Destination Weddings. TTT’s mission is to provide memorable events that will last a lifetime, maintaining a high standard of elegance, distinction, and simplicity.
Lydia possesses over 17 years of events planning experience, which began with the planning and design of her own wedding in 1995. She then spent over 14 years of planning, hosting and managing corporate meetings and social events for high profiled Wall Street Corporate Executes. One of her most cherished industry accomplishments was the launching of her own business, TTT Events Planning, LLC,
Lydia is an Industry Expert and International Speaker! She shares her knowledge and insight through various training seminars, classes, and workshops. You can find her at the Learning Annex! She’s also a Certified Professional Bridal Consultant. Lydia and her work was twice featured in the NY Daily News. She has an amazing passion for luxury couture fashion, coupled with an impeccable eye for details! This inspires and motivate her to design and produce every events as it own highly distinguished events!

Lydia loves traveling the world, and has traveled extensively to most of the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Germany, Paris, Australia, London, Paris, Egypt, Kenya, Jordan, Dubai, and many more places. She celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary journeying through the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. With this vast travel background she will give you first-hand expert recommendations for your dream destination wedding, honeymoon, anniversary, or special vacation.
Proudly referring to her South American heritage and the Guyanese culture, Lydia share the following statement on her website: “I was born and raised in British Guyana, which is in South America, (a Caribbean West Indian Country if you please). It has 6 different ethnic groups (Indian, African, Chinese, American Indian, Caucasian, and Portuguese) and cultures which were fused together to make a country filled with delicious foods, fabulous weddings and spectacular cultures. I may have migrated to New York in 1988, but this rich culture still influences my dress so much, that without even thinking about it, I may put on a Sari/Lehnga (Indian influence) or a qúnguà/Qi-Pao (Chinese influence). My work reflect this rich culture”
