She Rocks! Ebonee Noel of CBS New “FBI” Drama Series Has Strong Guyanese Roots

You may have recently seen Ebonee Noel staring as Kristen Chazal, a smart tech savvy analyst in the new CBS gripping 13-episode drama series, “FBI”.  The Harlem-born actress is also known for her role in the ABC’s drama “Still Star-Crossed” as Livia Capulet. Other TV credits include “Wrecked,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Eye Candy” from Jason Blum, and a supporting role in the independent feature “Long Nights, Short Mornings.”

Actress/Singer Ebonee Noel

Ebonee is the daughter of Guyanese parents, Cheryl E. Noel and Patrick Warton.  It’s no surprise that she chose to pursue a career in the Arts as her mother, a Bishops High school alumni, is a former singer, dancer and choreographer. Ebonee began her acting career appearing in plays and TV commercials before her TV roles.  She’s also a very talented singer and once performed a spoken word piece on a music track with her uncle, popular Guyanese award-winning singer/songwriter, Courtney Noel.

Many reports have shown that women are portrayed far less than men in science and techology roles in film and television so we’re proud to see Ebonee inspiring the next generation of girl analysts.  On her Instagram Page, Ebonee describes her character’s role in FBI as “The connective tissue of the squad. She’s the braniac of the group. What’s really exciting about her is that when she speaks, people actually listens.”

Congratulations Ebonee – You Rock!
