ABOUT THE AUTHOR: My name is Queen Hadassah, and I was born on October 15, 1954 in my father’s house in the little South American village of Victoria, Guyana. Victoria is on the east coast of Demerara, in Guyana. I knew that I’m a valued person. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m somebody.
