Kimberly A. Bailey is a published author and the founder of Chosen By One Media, LLC; a company dedicated to helping people to discover the power of their written words with confidence and creating innovative content for various media outlets around the world.
Kimberly was born in Brooklyn, NY to Nigerian and Guyanese parents. Her father is from Lagos, Nigeria and served in the US navy. Her mother, a native of Berbice, was the youngest of 11 children and migrated to the USA in 1968.
Kimberly’s military upbringing allowed her to live in multiple States before residing in Pensacola, Florida. As a teenager, she began writing short stories and poetry and soon developed an increasing interest in writing. Following graduation, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Administration from the University of West Florida and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University.
Kimberly has written two books, Chosen By One: You Are The Best and her new novel Simone Harley: Secret Afflictions was recently published on July 12th, 2016. In “Chosen By One: You Are The Best,” Kimberly illustrates how to build your inner confidence, fulfill your purpose and live a life full of peace and joy. “Simone Harley: Secret Afflictions” tells the story of a young successful attorney, Simone Harley, who appears to have a distinguishable and enviable life. However, many are not aware of her secret struggles with her tumultuous past and hidden afflictions.
