Celebrating our Graduates: Congratulations to the Amelia’s Ward USCians -They Rock!

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11).  This five young women definitely epitomize this phrase. Meet Trea, Michelle, Sonya, Corlecia and Feigel who reign from the small town of Amelia Ward Linden in Guyana, and playfully call themselves the “Amelia’s Ward USCians.” These “beauties with brains” all attended the University of Southern Caribbean (USC) in Trinidad; an affiliate of Andrews University in Michigan and over the years have form a sisterhood of Graduates beginning with Michelle back in 2010, and this year celebrating Trea’s achievement.  Here are their individual accomplishments.

Twenty five year old Feigel, who reached out to GGR to share the accomplishments of her and her friends, attended Mackenzie High School before traveling abroad to study. Her passion is the health and social issues affecting people in Guyana and aspire to become the Minister of Health one day. Feidel also loves to do volunteer work and recently returned to Guyana from Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital in Georgia, where she served as a medical missionary. She is currently looking for a job in a role that would allow her to make a difference in society.
